I have a Wavesurfer 44XS-A that just went black screen on me all of a sudden. When you switch it on, the fans start and stay on, the screen glows, but there are no other. Probably one of the best ever made by LeCroy. A while ago, I inherited a WaveSurfer 44MXs-B which I think is a fantastic scope. Am I missing some other comparable scope that I should be looking at? The WaveSurfer 3000z has a 10.1' capacitive touch display, the longest memory, and the deepest toolbox all at an affordable price. Would you choose one of these over the other, and why? I have had a 400MHz Lecroy WaveSurfer 44Xs since it was new in 2010.I came across this LeCroy sales literature which (of course) points to LeCroy as being the winner: Particularly LeCroy seems to win in the noise and lose in memory depth. I'm looking at the Rohde & Schwarz RTA-COM4USP98: and comparing it against the LeCroy 4104HD: Surprisingly close in price for the base units. No resources found for given product name.
